what i found today. age and by whom?

dear all

didn't have time to clean this, but am posting it anyway cos i really love it. unfortunately, it is missing the other spoon. the cups have a hole at the bottom that sits on a little plug on the tray and i really really love the crescent moon spoon holder

EPNS at the bottom of the tray, EP and ENGLAND on the back of the spoon. no other mark for maker identification

Sweet little set, hope it cleans up nicely for you.
Not sure the spoon was original, it's known as an Apostle spoon and there are lots around if you wanted to match it up.

A Google Images of "EP egg cruet" shows some lovely examples. There are several on eBay, too. I reckon any matching spoons will suffice.

 

i like that mine has the salt and pepper pots. many of the images don't seem to have them

polished! and dug up some spoons to go with it ...
1) matt stainless steel, shape doesn't fit


2) stainless steel shape fits but too shiny


3) spoons that we use daily ... perfect!
