Real Cantagalli?

    You’re right. It wasn’t expensive and I bought it because it looked good. I only really worried about it’s authenticity when it arrived. Why? I can’t find online that mark of the rooster along with Cantagalli Italy. Usually it’s just the rooster and a number. And also most seem to be blue or red. This is done in black ink. So thought I’d ask.

    Good it’s not raising any immediate alarm bells. Yes Iznik style, that’s really what I was drawn to. Thanks, I like it too.

    I think probably this is newer, but made in the cantagalli factory post 1936, pre 1985. Probably closer to 1985.
