Small wooden box help

    Hey guys,

    what do you think this box is? It’s heavy, maybe 5lbs plus, and looks old. Probably about 8in x 12 inches. Do you think it’s antique?

    that carving is so detailed it looks like a mold..!

    & I'd rather see the lid just lift off ....than open with that hinge...:wideyed:

    I find it odd...........imo..

    It looks very much like a resin candy box I had, now in the possession of Bookahtoo, that looked like carved wood but weighed a ton. @Bookahtoo Think the sticker for the candy company was still on the bottom, if you have it around to check.
