Roman Bas Relief Vase Bone or Terra Cotta?

    I I have this vase? that depicts the legend of Meleager presenting the boars head to Atalanta. Everything points to it being from Roman times by the clothing, pose and subject matter. Only thing is I don't know what it's made of. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Not plastic.     Looks like alabaster after being out in the weather. Don't expect it to be as old as the Romans.

    looks like a poor quality mold , what with all those bubbles.....

    No mold seam, alabaster was used for statues back then.

    Dear Brad..
    ..the bubbles....oh... the bubbles.....they got me in a tizzy.
    I see those bubbles everywhere...I'm starting to get dizzy !

    Only Champagne has more bubbles...& that's cuz it's Fizzy !!
