Iron light fixture ?

    Just wanted to confirm what seems to be a Spanish, circa 50's fixture. a plus is use of rivets & bands, not welds in it;'s construction. s-l1600 (6).jpg

    Could be as late as the 60s-70s.Possibly Mexican.

    Socket apparently painted black at one time. The cord is typical post WWII soft plastic - replaced ? s-l1600 (7).jpg

    Socket and ring may be ceramic not plastic.
