    Hi there,
I'm trying to get some idea of the history of these chandeliers. I don't expect they have any value, just trying to figure out timing. The house was built in 1908, and had the same owners until 1958, and one more family until 2004 when we bought it.

The first three photos are of a chandelier my husband just restored. There's no stamp on it or note of origination.

The next photo - I don't know how to describe it... (this is a photo from the day we looked at the house in 2004)

The last two are both all glass chandeliers.

Any thoughts on era or style?

    Thanks

The brass one looks 1970s. The next might be Atomic 1950s. The two glass may be Murano. But impossible (for me) to tell from your photographs.

I'll try to get some. Both are packed away.
I'm mostly curious about the second one. 1950s is what I thought, I can't find anything similar.

the first three are called Dutch in Europe and so out of fashion that nobody buys them - I threw two of these into the dump.
the fourth could be Italian when the leafs are tole, the "Murano" looks of doubtful quality.

None are as old as the house. First is maybe 70s or so. Second is more like 80s. First of the two crystal chandeliers is the oldest of the bunch and may be Murano 40s-50s. Last is 60s or later. Maybe by as much as 2-3 decades.

That second 70s one would sell very well in my neck of the woods.

Yeah, I doubt anything is original to the house, but based on when work was done to the house, I don't think any thing is younger than 1970 or so.
