Crimped Depression-era or earlier piece. Where to start?

Recently acquired this piece and discovered it gives off the telltale greenish- yellow signature under a black light. The bottom is ground but beyond that there's not much to work with. No maker's mark and obviously no pattern. How would one go about trying to ID something like this? And is "crimped" even the right word for it? It looks like Blenko by Winslow Anderson, but I don't know enough about it to know if it really is....

Guess I need to invest in a lot more reference material. Thanks janetpjohn! You at least got me going in the right direction.

Edit: Looks like the style matches the #947 but my bowl/vase is much smaller. It measures 4" height and 5" across. So I'm assuming that some art glass, depending on local geology, can put off the same greenish-yellow color as Depression Glass? https://www.ecrater.com/p/9229646/blenko-947-l-crimped-8-aqua-rose-bowl

For some reason this rose bowl says eastern Europe lead crystal giftware to me. If you have a short wave UV check for the blue lead glow.

No short wave lamp, just a 395nm for manganese. It definitely doesn't give off the tone I would expect from crystal.
