Hi there. Please go back and edit your post (more options) and under your text, you will find on the very top of your photos, an option for Insert every image as a "Full Image." Click on that. This will make it easier for members to help you

Do you have a photo of the back and a close up of any hardware?

I don't know anything about medieval chests or any chests for that matter, common sense says to me that it is unlikely for someone to possess three chests from 5th to the 15 century from Spain, unless the seller is saying Medieval style or reproductions.

There does not seem to be any likelihood this one (or the other 2) were actually made in the Medieval period from the pictures. Not even a reproduction.

300 Canadian a piece seems high to me, but wait for other opinions from Canadian members (which I am not.)

BTW, you really should have said "supposedly it's from the 60's" right up front because your OP makes it sound like the seller is representing these are actual period items.

There is a set? 1960s sounds likely, yes. The price seems high.

Agree that looks right for 1960s tourist piece from Spain. A pastiche, not a reproduction. Unlikely seller will find a large market for an item like this so think pricing very ambitious.

Late 20th century. Price is indeed too high.

Ah. We are a very literal group here, as you will find. People posts things supposedly from many eras. As a new member, I'm sure you thought you were providing good information. I am pretty meticulous in my wording, but I've been hanging out here for a while. From reading other member's posts, I think you got an answer. Discovering new things and sharing them is part of the fun here.

In BC, the fashion for this stuff was around the late 70's, get some red and black velvet wallpaper to go with it.

El Cid, the Charlton Heston movie, was released in 1961. It the sort of thing that might have inspired pieces like these.
