Japanese Kutani Ware Markings

    I have a very pretty set of Kutani eggshell porcelain which I believe is from the Meiji period. I have been trying to understand the characters without success. Can anyone help? The kanji characters are hard to read due to wear.

    Yes, please do. I do not see Kutani in the marks. I also do not see "eggshell" in the base.

    Here is one of them. The red traditional Kutani I do not have an image of, and they have no kanji on the bottom. These green ones do.

    Perhaps you don't understand that we asked to see the picture of the entire piece on which the the marks you showed us appear.
