Can you make out the signature?

Cool cup and I love the painting or drawing. Not sure what to call it. I’ve tried every combo I could think of. Maybe it’s just a small time artist not meant to be found but I thought I’d ask here.
You guys have eagle eyes and you’re so good at figuring things out!

Thank you! I would have never made out the Davis but see the a now, of course. You guys are terrific!! Ty e1 for the help. I’m hoping you will have the happiest holidays possible. I say, “ at least we are on the right side of the ground”. I lost my father to C-19 in July.
