A little about me

    I've been around antiques since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. My parents did all of the storage lockers buying and picking way before it became the hip thing to do. I feel like I have an old soul because I have always had an eye or special place in my heart for older objects.

    My husband and I rummage through places anywhere we go and always find something to either keep, sell or both. When we first met and I took him picking he thought I was nuts but is now more addicted to it than I!

    This is a fun hobby for me and I think what I love the most is meeting all the wonderful people along the way and what I learn from them. I was invited to this board by another enthusiast and I am glad to be here.

    Welcome! A bunch of Joolies and old Antiques Board refugees were the first posters here. We've since attracted other similar-minded hoarders/junkers/collectors. You'll fit right in.

    Hello GG,

    I know you from the Ebay jewelry board, especially the jewelry Secret Santa! :) (I believe you were my giftee last year.)

    This is a great spot for questions on a broad variety of items.

    BTW, I think you will get the hang of the photo posting. They have a limit on size on this site, so you may need to resize photos prior to posting. And always use the "full image" button after uploading photos, which puts the photo right in the text box.
