Age/info on glass bottle

back in the late 70's when I was there I was told that they did not export any of it outside the region.

 

My parents knew a wine merchant who went overthere regularly to buy it himself. But of course that is easier to do when you're in the neighbouring country, even though you'd have to stay over at least one night. No problem, we used to stay in an old inn in Bamberg, walk around the medieval town centre, visit the cathedral with that beautiful 13th century equestrian statue inside, etc.
I know, I'm off again. Reminiscing, reminiscing.......
