Hello fellow Antiquers

    I'm retired now and looking forward to indulging my curiosity (and broadening my narrow knowledge) about several antique categories, especially old furniture, silver table ware and old jewelry. I have several pieces of antique furniture, both English and American, of varying vintages which are inherited but with no background info. So I start from scratch and look forward to "meeting" other Antiquers and welcome comments and suggestions, beginning with "Where do I begin?"
