2 Henry Rice Watercolors

    IMG_2302.JPG IMG_2303.JPG IMG_2304.JPG IMG_2305.JPG IMG_2306.JPG Trying to figure the location on the beach cottage painting. The artist's watercolors are usually titled on the verso but this one is laid over board. I guess somewhere in New England.
    The other one has unfinished study on the back and is Doublehead Mt.

    I also read that he visited Bermuda and painted some scenes. I don't know if somene can tell by the architecture?

    Nope. Been to Bermuda several times and that old wood frame house is on the mainland. Mt. Doublehead is in NH, but that house looks like it's near the ocean so it could be anywhere on the New England coast. He was born in Maine.

    Jill Amos Raines paints typical Bermuda scenery. This was from the internet but it's similar to two that I own. The houses have unique white rooftops that collect rainwater into cisterns because they don't have much fresh water. Unknown.jpg
