Surprised to see Asian mark. Recognize it?

    pardon the messy work area. I didn’t think this guy would have been produced in Asia somewhere. I looked through the Asian mark website and did not find anything.
    Any help in identifying this is much appreciated

    Would not surprise me if this was made in Japan for sale to US military in post exchange stores post WW2 (including during the Korean conflict), especially with the line in English.
