Antique headboard help

    My neighbor was throwing out another headboard and I have no clue the age. Can anyone please give me any information on the time frame this was made or if it was handcrafted or any indication of what this might be. I would really appreciate it.

    Looks Eastlake late 1800's.

    About 1880 or so. Has elements of Eastlake but that carved crest is more refined than most Eastlake. Looks to be walnut. I want to live by your neighbor!

    Does look a bit refined for Eastlake I agree. Not to say there weren't "refined" craftsmen then. :) I agree, that neighbor would be a good one to have.
