Dutch Painting any one know of the artist?

    The artist name as far as I can make out is Bastiaan. Would like to find out more about the artist if possible. I did manage to track the artist to Amsterdam at one point but the information was private. The frame is quite heavy and made from wood with no plaster. However the canvas was primed with gesso.     Yes I agree. Was thinking 1970's. I will remove it from the frame to see if I can get a good photograph of the signature.
