    I am the proud Mom of six grown children, and the lucky Grandma of 3 fabulous grandkids.
    I am a native Californian and have lived here my whole life.
    I love reading, antiquing, gardening, cooking and baking, fishing and photography.
    Happy to have stumbled across this while trying to determine the age of a Sligh-Lowry desk which I think is decades newer than was suggested. I have seen pics of a logo/mark that looks ALMOST right, but whereas the one I am looking at has 'Sligh' in block print, then a hyphen, followed by 'Lowry' in rather elaborate script, the closest I have seen has no hyphen and 'Lowry' is below 'Sligh' and offset to the right.
    Anyhow, very happy to be here!
