Is this an original Stickley rocker?

Seller says there is not a stamp/mark on the chair but she has a paper

 

At best Stickley Brothers or L and J. G. Both had colonial lines. It s not the kind of Stickley sought by collectors. It may bring a slight premium over other similar chairs if truly documented. Since not marked, you would need to find a marked example or a catalog page showing it.

Id offer $50,but only if your buying it for yourself to use. You can barely give this stuff away now,and even desirable Stickley has plummeted in value.In my humble opinion.

 

i though Stickley was more stout...

 

This would be a hard sell where I live. No one seems to want rockers these days, and less popular still are nursing rockers. I've seen some absolutely gorgeous ones unsold at estate sales even on the last day for $50 and less. (Ones that would have probably sold for $200 three decades ago.) Tastes have changed.

Unless the photo is deceiving, looks like a nursing rocker, small-ish, and very low to the ground.

The Stickley connection might increase interest a tad if you can confirm it as suggested.

These old chairs have beautiful lines, so if for yourself or decorating, certainly $80 isn't horrible for an older piece whether Stickley or not, but would not be a good resale item at that price in my opinion. Maybe offer $50 as Johnny suggested, if for yourself.

No connection to classic Stickley furniture design. Stickley Furniture is still in business and maybe made this, but I doubt it. I'm curious what kind of paperwork she has.
