Although there seems to be a squiggle before the possible L. An M instead of an L? Morna Katz?

Yes it has been a bit brisk but better than a heat wave

 

I actually think it's Morris Katz. The style is right and if you look at other signatures by him you can see it, mostly.

 

Good eyes SIS! I could only make out Katz!

 

I was about to say Morrie Katz. See SIT got there already. The name Morris is on the fragment of label on the back.
