Ok, after some digging, I finally found the artist for this piece. At the bottom of this piece has a Copyright Ivanov 1993. While searching through artist with that last name, I found an image of an oil painting from Sergiy that has the same looking mouth and chin figure in his known piece. When I read his biography, I was shocked that he graduated from Ukraine Academy of Printmaking, majoring in Graphic Arts. I feel very confident that this is the artists for my piece. The last picture is from a known Sergiy painting, bearing the same technique and chin that is on mine. The graphic is 26x36, excluding framing. It's Sergiy Ivanov from Ukraine. Looks faded to me. When color prints fade, it's usually the red that goes first. So if a print has a blue-green cast to it... it has likely faded. I would say look at pictures like this and define what you like about them, but I would not advise you to buy them. They're just color reproductions.
Boy, was a WAY off on the artist! I didn't take the picture out of the frame because it was nicely framed and didn't think about the possibility of any other notations being on the front. When asked if it was signed or numbered, I decided to take it out the frame. Upon doing so, I realized it is not the artist I first thought it was. I also realized that this is indeed faded, that bites. The border that still has it color, looks so bright. This would of look really lovely with its full colors. Back to the artist. It's a litho of a painting by Anatoly Ivanov. On the front it's written as such and exclusively from the Luna Arts in Venice, CA. So, sorry about the mix up on identifying this from the wrong artist. I find it odd that Anatoly's work here had the same "mouth and chin" as Sergiy's. You could see why I went with Sergiy at first. None the less, I still enjoy this piece. I wouldn't of bought it if I didn't. Not only that, the wife loves it. Gotta make the wife happy.
This is a photomechancial reproduction of apparently an antique painting. I suspect "Ivanov" is the print's publisher, not the artist. This does not appear to resemble a work by the Ukranian Sergiy Ivanov (born 1957).
I've found more of the works of this painter online, but no information about him. The only Anatoly Ivanov that's come up as an artist is a photographer and designer: http://anatolyivanov.com
