In the spirit of scientific inquiry, what type of motion does it make?

Painting was only £1. Gouache by artist Luky Paris who seemed to paint clowns mainly.~
Bottle, probably be smiling more if it wasn't bought empty! Not really, I did buy a bottle with carbon tetrachloride in it and local chemist refused to dispose of it. Still got that in my shed. image.jpg
Dogs just so dainty and cute. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Thanks for this. I had no idea what the singer looked like. I had only ever heard the song on Family Guy and I supposed the singer looked like Peter Griffin.

Ever bought something because it made you smile?

Yes, every perfume bottle I own. ;):p:rolleyes::happy::happy::D:D:D

There are also 2 things over in a display case I can not access at the moment. Both items are connected to a department store in Toledo, Ohio where I grew up & where my Mother worked for 10 years baking all the pies that were sold at the bakery counter, cafeteria, & the lunch counter. I have many happy memories of meeting my Mother downtown after she got off work to go shopping or to the movies.:happy:

The first one is one of the bakery boxes you would carry home your goodies. I found it at a shop in Toledo many years ago. Every time I see it I smile because I remember my Mom & her pies which were absolutely to die for. :hungry::hungry::hungry:

The second is one of those penny holder things that have a horseshoe on them & say you will never go broke as long as you hold onto it. I stumbled upon it a few months back on ebay. It was from Tiedtke's back in 1965 & had a penny from 1953 which is when I was born.

I know someday my kids will find them in my cabinet & wonder WTH I was doing with those 2 things because she quit working there & the store was long gone before they were even born.
