there are several threads here on cleaning silver....but I doubt Billy would have any of the products.....not buying silver often enough to need them....
So...clean cloth and warm soapy water.....good for a start !

Hi Komo,
I make my own for only pennies instead of dollars. Take a pair of white cotton gloves soak in 2 cups cold water add 1/2 cup ammonia and 1/4 cup of liquid silver polish. after soaking and wring out. Hang to dry. When they become really black and grody, wash and then resoak.

I have a pair of these..& two cheaper singles....it's only the 2nd pair I've owned in 27 years......do the math & it comes out to only pennies over time....
& they've served me well...
