    I purchased this desk at a flea market & stripped the paint & refinished it. It looks like it might be a desk for a child's room, or a desk where a mirror would be attached to the back of it. Has anyone seen a desk like this and know what the purpose of the desk would be? - Jeff Haynes

    Welcome to the group! I think it may have been a small woman's vanity with a mirror attached to the back in it's former life.

    That is just a guess though!

    It looks like an old vanity to me too, but it would make a great desk for a kid.
