identifying ceramic tabby cat

i got this last year at a second hand shop and all i can find are listings selling it and calling it “vintage tabby cat” or something along those lines but i cant find how many were made when they were made or who made them i think the signature on the bottom says NB but im not sure this link goes to the album with photos of it https://www.antiquers.com/media/albums/ceramic-cat.901/

the marking on mine’s stomach is different than those could that mean its a coppy

 

I should have looked at the album! I'd agree on Japanese.

Me too, but the glaze is different as are the colours.

 

Is yours a salt/pepper shaker? I've found several sets that appear like yours that are. This set says they are Napco however this is the only photo they supply.
