Chair

Well now. They weren't made in Windsor, but in and around High Wycombe, which is some way away in a different county - maybe twenty miles? What's neat about it is that my parents owned chairs made by E Gomme, which they bought new in the 1950s. Some of the companies are still going.

There's sites which claim they're called after Windsor because they were made there, but that's not true. It's possible that people who commissioned them were based there, but that's a bit lost in history. They're certainly High Wycombe's history.
