    Kard, there's one on Pinterest that's identified as "JenWaller" - but that's apparently an error picked up by SEVERAL Pinterest posters.

    I believe Jen Waller is the name of the person who first posted it there! Her original post in 2008 said:

    This was the cookie jar of my childhood, the cookie jar I grew up with. It's still sitting in my parents' kitchen, although they have moved several times since I was a child. I believe I was told they received it for a wedding present, so it's at least 47-years old.

    It should sell nicely. Cookie jars in general do well and unusual ones do very well.

    However, I grabbed this yesterday. Not easy to find, especially with the handle and the lid.
    I found a good info on the maker but not sure who is Tonck? Seems like there are Japan stickers so likely it was made during Lagardo stay in Japan.
