Need help identifying Grimwades

    Were you hoping to find a particular line it came from or something like that? That exact mark isn't on this link though there are two that are similar dating 1906+. It also doesn't appear in Godden's book of marks.

    Does yours have a registration number? I did find another example of the mark on a piece (different jug than yours though) that has an registration number which dates that pattern to 1902 so while the item could have been made long after that time, it's not far off from the above reference 1906+.

    Sorry I don't know Grimwades,. Royal Winton/Grimwades made a Highland Cattle pattern but they don't look like highland cattle to me.

    Yes I was looking for the line. I saw the highland cattle pattern as well but agree, I don't think they are highland cattle. Thanks for the link on the marks.
