Antique? Chinese Utilitarian Ginger Jar Unmarked But Decorated

    I'm hoping the decoration will give it away as to what period and area it's from any info would be great thanks in advance!
    It's about 3.75" tall, the base measures 2.75" and the opening 2" hope that helps

    From the shadows on the vase it looks like it was maybe covered with rattan at one time,so maybe Awaji (?) ware?
