Do you think it could be by some of the known US makers?

 

Have seen this before but can't remember where. I do think one of the mainstream US potteries. Mid century modern ..... 50s-60s.

 

There are planters marked USA 1001 and 1002 that have similar color and but different shapes and white splatter design.No attributions.
Could it be UPCO?

 

I was looking for something else and found this in Huxford's Brush McCoy book. It says Stardust Vase 8",#601, 1957.

 

Exactly the same one? I’m having hard time finding another example online.

 

Yes, the same except for color. Stardust was a line. You can see some at worthpoint.com.
