Happy New Year... hopefully happier than the last!

I have an oval serving platter, with the name Iona ? which I'm presuming is a pattern. I've searched for the same but everything I find isn't it! I've tried searching waterlily, heron and stork... still no luck.

I thought it looked similar to Minton Aesthetic transferware, however, I could be completely wrong... as I'm certainly no expert.

Can any of you good people on here help me out?

    Thank you.

I think you may struggle to identify the maker but I think you are right about the aesthetic period. There are a few examples for sale but none have identified a maker.

Thank you John much appreciated. Pleased I actually have the period correct, all these internet searches must be actually sinking in :)

Late nineteenth. Problem is, factories made the transfers then sold them on to others.

Thanks to both - your invaluable help has helped me find the manufacturer of the platter... as I mentioned I'd searched for and age. Then I put in the late nineteenth century Iona.. and BOOM... I have a match!
