I am new here and I am trying to find some advice for a few pieces I have. I have been paying storage on them for the past 2 years due to not having room in my house for all of it. I'm not sure if they are even worth holding on to. I'm looking for anyone who might could give me some information on them. I will take better photos tomorrow. What I do know is that the doors on the cupboard were custom made. I do also have the orginal doors as they are not see through like the ones in the photo. Thank you so much for your time in advance:)

Value is dependent on where and how selling. I am semi-rural Midwest USA where prices are lower than in big cities and either coast. Retail shop prices are higher than at auction, flea market, or selling on facebook or craigslist. Things to keep in mind.

Step-back is mid to late 19th century. Used to be worth a lot. Not so much these days. The hinges on yours are wrong, so devalue it a bit further. It would be around $200.00 or so at retail in my neck of the woods.

Your sugar chest is very plain and looks to have been stripped, so maybe a $150.00. This is the kind of thing that might actually do better in an auction and does better in the South.

Your folding table is maybe $20.00.

I too am from the mid west. Furniture prices are pretty low these days. The little folding table were often used as sewing tables for small portable sewing machines and cutting out material. In small homes they could be easily stored.

Look at the top of the folding table, often there is a ruler in the surface :)

Your step back would have been known as a blind cabinet, too. It some areas (PA) you did not want to show off your treasures or stored items. Agree hinges are way off.
Your sugar chest is unlike any I have seen on the East coast although ours did open at the top. Different bins were for different types of sugar. Since sugar was so valuable, they usually had a lock.

Thank yall so much for the information. I know the photos are horrible as I will be able to get some better ones tomorrow and post. The doors on the cabinet are not the original. She had someone make those years ago so she could show off her China. I actually have the original doors. Again I will get some better photos as the ones I posted dosent show the wood or the detail. Again I thank you for all of the information!

Southern sugar chests can be very pricey . Yours definitely seems like a country made piece . I like those marble topped tables as well.

I have been trying to get the stuff out of storage. It was all given to us by a relative 2 years ago this month. The marble coffee table actually has the 2 end tables with it. I also have another rather large cabinet in my house that was part of all of it. If I wanted to find out information on those items would I start another thread?

Yes, a separate thread would be a good idea.
