This was written on the back of a 1903 postcard.

Does this mean they have found god ? and the DG means Dei Gratia ?

Hope mother is ????? quite well ???

It looks like the drawing is not of 'the Cross' but of a cross pendant. So the sender found the pendant, thank God/through the grace of God (Dei Gratia), and hopes mother is feeling better because of it.

    No, just the pendant.:D
God was already part of the sender's life.:angelic:

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    Don`t know.
I was more concerned about the "Found" Cross and DG

Maybe mother feels quite well now because she has found Christ, thanks be to God, i.e., she died. Sympathy notes are the sort of thing people keep.
