Newbie to site: I started digging up old cream top milk bottles from a neighborhood dump when I was 10. Was fascinated by the 1920's and the Prohibition era. on to "blue" mason jars and glass insulators when I was 11. spent the entire $35 i made cutting lawns when I was 12 on an old 1938 stand up RCA radio. Then drifted off into wax cylinder recorders. The old bottles I dug up 53 years ago are still in my attic. I need to downsize and am looking into potential markets and need some pricing help. Working mostly with the china that my mom inherited from her mom. And her mom was born in 1887. I have some old mid 1800 and early 1900 pieces. Just have no idea where to start. So that is why I am here. Plus I love antiques.

Hi negrillive and WELCOME to ANTIQUERS!! When you’re ready, start posting images with questions in the appropriate forum, and you’ll be off to a great start!!! If you need help, just ask!!! Each image needs to be under 1 MB and 8 images to a post, from lots of angles, & whatever you can tell about your item!!!! When ready to post, don’t forget to click the very TOP image in the stack that says “POST EVERY IMAGE FULL SIZE”....Then we’re not all looking at thumbnails!!!:)

Welcome  You have come to the right place. I am in a similar situation having inherited boxes and boxes of my grandparents and parents bits and pieces. There is so much knowledge available on this site. When you start to post your items make sure you click on the 'full image' button and provide as much information as possible. Take lots of pics from different angles and include images of the bottom of the objects.
Someone will always come along to help you :watching: I am also a newbie so still learning lots.
