I have had this Baccarat Vase for a long time and was just looking it up and can't seem to find this vase or find out when it was made. It is the Rohan pattern and has the acid etch label and is 6 1/4 in. tall. I looked on replacements but they don't have this vase. Can anybody tell me when they made this vase. I know they starting making this pattern in 1931. TIA for all your help!

I have a 2005-2006 Baccarat wholesale/retail catalog. It shows Rohan examples in the tableware section (decanter, pitcher, glassware) but nothing in the vase section. Not much help, I know. Someone, ideally Baccarat, needs to write a definitive book on their products.

Thanks! Yeah they really need something. I have not seen one vase in this pattern for sale or sold. I guess I could write baccarat, do you think they would be able to tell me. They started this pattern in 1931. Maybe it's rare! Lol

I've got a Baccarat Michelangelo etched vase that is very similar. Michelangelo has a long production time frame, though. According to Replacements it dates 1927-1970. I follow Baccarat as best I can and anytime I'm in Vegas I visit the Baccarat store in the Forum. (I don't think they really want to let me in but I kept messing up their outside windows with my drool). Anyway, it seems to me that they don't change their designs all that often. I guess they figure why mess with perfection. My vase is 6" and prices seem to range from $79 to $249. Don't know if that's any help but thought I'd share the info.

I've looked through Jean-Louis Curtis' book "Baccarat" (the most beautiful photos of Baccarat I've ever seen) but didn't see Rohan. However, the book does say that the acid mark on your piece was used beginning in 1937. Not much help! Rohan pieces, though not a vase, are still available on Baccarat's website. Perhaps you can send an email with photo through their website and see if you get an answer.

Last year I had a still-wrapped-in-cellophane box of Chanel No 5 for sale, and Chanel, France, purchased it. The head of their archives department was the buyer, and we exchanged several emails. She was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised, so perhaps someone at Baccarat will be equally happy to assist.

Yeah I think I will see if I can find where to send it to. I just think its very odd I can't find one sold or for sale nowhere. Thanks
