What kind of lights are these?

Same origin, same questions as https://www.antiquers.com/threads/trying-to-id-these-japanese-ceiling-lights.57750/ but starting a new thread.

These are parts to 2 or 3 Chinese lights of some sort. Do these have a less generic than "a Chinese pendant light"?

Any sense how old these might be? 60s-70s as the ones in the other thread? (they all came from the same house)

@moreotherstuff so yours is a multi-section (term?) one. Do mine look like multiple 1-section lanterns or something more like yours?

 

From your photos, I'm guessing you have bits and pieces that would assemble into something larger.

Entirely possible pieces are missing. Will try to assemble.

 

It may be that these are bits and pieces salvaged from something larger. How creative are you?

@moreotherstuff in yours how many light sockets are there? Each of mine has a socket so maybe these are individual lanterns?

Looks like these are 3 stand-alone lamps. Does anyone know what type of bulb these sockets are for, and if I can still buy them?

 

I think you want a bayonet base light bulb. They're out there. You can find some on Amazon, but taking one of the sockets to a lighting store is probably the easiest.

Yes, although the socket is male and so are the bulb connectors in the photos. So for compatibility I would need either an adapter of some sort or a bulb with female connectors, right?

@moreotherstuff - I've a baby version of that lantern which I bought in Korea.

 

@Ownedbybear does it have the same type of bayonet socket? Do you have a bulb for it?

 

Mine is just a baby lantern, rather than any electrical fittings.

Your bayonet fittings are British. They were also used in many of our colonies. I'll bet your lamps came from Hong Kong. You've also got black and red two core cable, by the look of it, which is old style British.
