Silver Elephant

    Hi Everyone

    Today i purchased this Elephant from a local charity shop
    I have seen many simliar modern ones online, but this
    one looks like it has some age to it.

    I think it is at best silver plated the size is 5 inches by
    3 inches and weighs about 9.25lbs.
    I can see no hallmarks on it.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cute elephant, Andy. Probably from India.
    There seems to be some wear to the silver colour on the ears, so it could be silver plated.

    A strong magnet will attract to it. Notice the stinky smell. Indian brass.
