Cuckoo Clock from Germany

  1. came across this and no idea how it works, DOES have the key to wind. any idea on year range or any info? There are no markings I could see but heres a couple pics

    The chains and weights drive the movement.

    There should be a girl in a swing hanging on the hook that comes through the base. Try searching "German Weather House Swinging Girl Clock".

    my folks had one of these , in their country house, in the 70's......bought in Germany.
    I don't know what became of it.......thanks for the memories though !!!!!!:happy::happy:
     
  7. Thanks for the input everyone. Bought the clock for 15 sold it for 30. Did some further researched found similar ones from the era in top notch condition for like 60 bucks. The person who bought it likes to work on cuckoo clocks and repair them so all in all a win for everyone.
