OK, I buy some art pieces I shouldn't (please reference painting on black velvet a while ago), but this print really intrigued me for some reason. There is so much going on here. The signature looks like B (?) Chernow '66. Does anyone recognize this image or the artist's name? I did google...found Ann Chernow, but the initial on the print does not seem to be an A. The print is ~ 8" by 12". There is a manufactured fold just below center. I didn't see that until I took it out of the frame. It is printed on what feels like card stock. Thoughts anyone??? The piece with the date of 1966 and the "Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat" as well as the motorcycle in what looks like some parade or protest gives me a Vietnam protest piece. Is that a leather jacket across the motorcycle handlebars? They would do this do show their bike gang. Are those skulls she is holding?, if it's a she. And the Christmas reference could be to the 1966 Christmas Truce.
Anyway, they wanted to stop dropping bombs and drop acid instead. The artist looks like he or she may have been dropping too much acid.
I may be totally off, but that's what I see.

Yes it is an intriguing print, and a very good artist.
Looks like a feminist Golgotha, on a motorbike, with trains on either side.

Bridgeport/Housatonic is only a 20 min. ride up 91 to Yale; Yale students regularly protested the Vietnam war in the 60's, and law clinic there known for helping with desegragation movement.

The central figure looks to me like a woman who is either a scarecrow (associated with autumn, laying in harvest for winter; Christmas is coming)) or crucified (makes me wonder about the state of the Chernow marriage).

I do not see it as a parade, although have no role to assign the 2 shadowy figures. Looks more like a motor bike than a real hog, more like it could be hers. I thought for a bit I could see a cattle skull mounted on the front, but now, not really. That part is not gestalting into anything for me.

The heads she's holding look like Lenin and??? Stalin maybe. It looks more like a current American political figure at first glance. If it does to you too, it might be worth striking while the iron's (and maybe irony is) hot with this one if you're planning to list it.
