    1700s. She's Baroque. Are those auction marks?

    I think they've identified her as French because of the powdered hair, which was more of a fashion in France than in England.

    Nineteenth c. version of an earlier painting. Alligatoring like that is common with 19thc bitumen ground paintings. Not fixable.
