Featured 1899 past and present birthday book signatures

I have been racking my brain trying to find this book online. Just like before, maybe someone else's computer is smarter than mine, or it might be my brain taking farts, lol.
This book has about 9 signatures under people's names, not sure why people signed it.
Any help on this book ?

The people who signed all have the same birthday (day not year) as the famous person whose birth date was preprinted.

 

And I suspect that the handwritten names and dates were all added by the owner of the book and not the people themselves.

 

As for the purpose of the book, it's so you can remember when friends and family members have their birthday. My Mom and grandmother both had books that performed the same function, although I don't recall them being exactly like this one, of course. I even remember having something similar a very long time ago.

I think it is an interesting concept and book. I like the "look" of the book, especially the front cover.

 

I know all these signatures are all probably all family members but I wanted to know more about the book if anybody knew. I'm trying to find the same book online. Here's more signatures for your enjoyment...

Okay got it. Yes a birthday book but what about mine ? I needed help finding one like mine.

 

Note especially that the website below says that a book like yours (it mentions the same publisher and same publication date) is also in the Library of Congress indexed under "americana."

My mom still has hers; it's a little red one. They don't look alike but the function is the same.

Many of the names are in the same handwriting, so I don't think they are autographs - or did someone mention that already? It's pretty cool, though.

 

Shelley Barnes is written in on Feb. 21, but note says birth date Feb. 12. Dyslexic? Or just preferred that quote? Suspect entries are a mix of autograph & owner's notes, family & friends. I have a little modern one my mother gave me when she was in her Kate Greenaway phase, also with only a scattering of entries.
