Cut Glass Vase

Do you think it is original to the body?

    It almost looks like a screw. Do you think someone screwed the base on? (I keep being distracted by the big chip:confused:)

    I dont’t know buy the metal is inside the glass, can’t feel it on the bottom nor on the inside.
    Yeah, the chip is unfortunate but it feels like a nice piece. Hand cut and probably hand blown ? in a mold.
