Weird coffee table

    Hi everyone, this is my inaugural post. Does anyone know what to make of this coffee table I purchased off Craigslist? Previous owners said they picked it up at an antique shop in Ohio 20 years back. Style appears to be... atomic?

    W 20", H 16", L 48"

    The thing is pretty light. Maybe 40-50lbs. No staples that I can see. No labels or maker's marks of any kind. Formica (or some sort of laminate) over wood, I think, but I'm pretty clueless about this stuff.

    Any idea where/when this table came from? I really like the way it looks and would like to find similar items. Thanks! IMG_20180325_234523.jpg

    I kind of get a home made or small workshop vibe from this. Don't think it is from a main-stream furniture company.

    Laminate was very big 50s-60s,but I think this looks 80s. I like it.

    I think 1980s - 90s with that color laminate.
    Not a true antique. Not 100 years old.

    Looks like it fits very nicely with your decor.
