Blue white vase - flowers - signed in script on bottom

    I'm just not sure on this one...turkish? Ideas on age? 9" tall.

    The shape of the vase looks Turkish or generally Asian, but I don't recognize the decoration as Turkish or from any other Islamic region.
    It looks southern European to me.
    I just checked my book 'Ceramics from Islamic Lands', nothing that resembles it.
    Maybe @Walter Del Pellegrino can help?
