Since I saw the mask.

 

and a fine one it is !!!

They sometimes get confused for NWC masks because of their fine carving & colorful paint jobs......& shells !

 

I can’t have that mask, showed it to Ms. Spring who said it is scary and will never be allowed in our house.

 

no offense to Mrs Spring.....

I once had a guy in the Gallery....with his wife...& while she wandered around we discussed the purchase of a fine $$$$ carving.....and were about to seal the deal when she strode up with a loud voice saying..." you'll never put any of this stuff up in ' my ' house !!! "

The guy turned sheepish, thanked me for my time...& they left !

 

funny...she sees scary .....I see beautiful !!!
