    Hi, any idea as to what the marks are on the 2nd picture.
    I would have thought a nice award like this would have be made with low level brass or metal. Thanks

    Interesting that the competition was in 1956. Maybe there was unavoidable delay in producing the plaque?

    The boys who could feed thousands using a stove made from an old oil drum. I'm seeing an a date letter too.

    Some English sterling! Nice find! If my memory serves me correct, the markings indicate this would be from circa 1956? Please do correct me if I get any details wrong, still learning over here!
