Anyone heard of a antique doll head sewn to a body called Emma Clear?

I got all the dolls in the first photo (including a Emma Clear, a R & B and a Horsman doll) for a total of $37.50 - they were divided into 3 bags and sold for $12.50 each - at a thrift store today (there are still a couple of bags but I know nothing about dolls so I wanted to start with these & see what happens)
The most valuable one appears to be a Emma Clear? I looked on eBay & none sold for under $100 - and 1 which looks like it has the same kind of haie sold for $400! (https://www.ebay.com/itm/ANTIQUE-21...=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557) - Is mine like that one?

There was another tall doll with the Emma that looks like her especially the hair, but I couldn't find a mark on her; can anyone tell me if it's the same doll maker & if not who made it?
    Thank you!

Those don't appear to be antique. There's something very 1970s about them including their clothes. Let's see what others think.

I think the price variation might be explained by the number of reproductions about.

This is from eBay. She is similar to one of yours and was listed as a reproduction.

That's the only photograph I could find. (Old listing.) But, yes, said signed on back.

For comparison... This one is supposed to be 1939.

Here she is without the dress - she has a corset like the other one on ebay - does this help any in aging her, Debora?
PS - She also has the pierced ears, but she is only 19" tall where the other one in link is 21" ?

So...original Clear's are reproductions themselves, it's not that there are reproductions of Clears?

The picture of the group of 6 dolls, the cloth doll on the r facing you, is from Poland. The doll in the blue dress might be a Vogue. The one between the two of them, might be Dydee baby. The far left doll looks to be composition, and in nice condition if so.

"The earliest doll she (emma clear) produced was her Jenny Lind china doll. By the early 1940s she was able to offer collectors a wide variety of very fine dolls. She referred to her creations as replica dolls and stated that she was not trying to imitate old dolls but rather that she wanted to capture the beauty and charm of them".

Is the dress the same on this original as the one on your doll? Is she marked Effanbee?

I re-read your post, and your first sentence mentions a Horsman and an R & B. Which ones?

Does anyone know what my Emma Clear doll's name or type is?
Here are the other 3 little ones (Horsman & R&B) - the last one doesn't have a name I could find.
