Looking for guidance on these four chairs there are actually two sets of two, noticed the slight detail change
on spindle and top of the back. These were passed down from my parents and I have little information on them. Wondering if I should donate, try to sell and if I should consider rescanning the bottom

I took them from the gallery and resized them for you.

    new cane can be costly...

These are known as pressed-back chairs and possible they are early 1980's repros. Not for sure, but a lot were remade then because demand was high.

Not a lot of value as two pairs. I would not fix them. Sell them for what you can get for them. Maybe $30-40.00 per pair in my Midwest US location on a good day. You may do better (or worse) where you live.
