Art Deco Style Chair

    I picked up this chair yesterday at a resale shop in Houston that had a number of Art Deco pieces from the same home. It has no tags or marks, and it's in such good condition it feels like a newer chair done in a Deco or Frank Lloyd Wright style. What do y'all think? And what's the deal with the "shelf" under the seat? Is there a name for this. Is it church furniture? ADC1.jpg ADC2.jpg ADC3.jpg ?
