Large Iron Pan

    Any idea who the maker might be?

    Are you sure it's iron? Maybe carbon steel? The handle does not look iron to me, but that's JMHO ;)

    No idea how to tell cast iron from cast steel.

    Carbon steel would be thinner, cast iron very thick and heavy?

    Well, it’s a large piece but it is very heavy and thick.

    The handle part is almost certainly not cast iron. I'd say wrought iron or maybe mild steel.

    Can't see enough of the vessel part to tell the material.
